Thursday........We started our day with our daily morning work. Today it was about the North and South Pole. I didn't finish it so I had it for homework. I forgot to do my D.O.L the night before so I had to do it first thing. After morning work we got our stuff to go to swimming at the swim club. It is on our campus so we get to swim! It's is so much fun.
When we got to the swim club we went to get into our swim suits. We separated in to our groups and we were off. I am in the intermediate group. In our group we did freestyle and breaststroke. It was great. After we did that our group went to the deep end and dove off the blocks! I did it and man it was fun. After that we got out of the pool and got back into our clothes. When we left it was so cold outside. I was freezing.
In our class we did math center. Their were quiet a few. Also, we had partners. Mine was Wiley. My favorite center was measuring with beans. It was pretty fun actually. After we got done with that we went to band or study hall.
I go to band and I play the trumpet. Today we had a substitute band teacher! I've never had one of those before. He was fun because he was telling us some pretty cool stories. After band or study hall, we had lunch. Did you say corn dawgs? The whole lunch I was thinking about if dog was spelled like dawg. The reason why is because that's what we had for lunch. That would be funny. At recess, I was playing with Lindsey and Cameron. We weren't really doing anything though, we were just goofing around.
Back in class we did D.O.L. I did one of the sentences. It's cool to write on the smart board for D.O.L. Next, we had Lit. circles. Our group was done with everything so I did some D's. Then, we did Town Time. Our group had a pretty good day. We got a farm! We were lucky because we didn't have the flu hit our colony. Lucky ducks we are. After town time we went to library. Time flew by because we were having fun and awww the day was over. Bye Bye
